Beach Haven is a small, six square kilometer site in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. At the time of the census in 2010 counted 1170 inhabitants of the place.

Beach Haven is located at the southern tip of Long Beach Iceland and was once one of the most popular resorts on the coast of New Jersey. Hotels such as the Hotel Engleside attracted to wealthy guests; the good train connections to New York and Pennsylvania also allowed less wealthy strata here to spend a day at the beach. Beach Haven is the place where occurred the first of the five shark attacks on the coast of New Jersey ( 1916) on 1 July 1916. The place suffered in consequence a deep economic downturn, as people shunned out the beaches on this stretch of coast.
