Beacon Theatre (New York City)

The Beacon Theatre at the address 2124 Broadway is a historic theater in the theater district of New York. It was opened in 1929 and offers up to 2,894 spectators. It was designed by the American architect Walter W. Ahlschlager. The theater was taken on November 4, 1982 as the Beacon Theater and Hotel in the National Register of Historic Places.

On 29 October and 1 November 2006 there were in it instead of two concerts by the Rolling Stones, the documented Martin Scorsese for the concert film Shine a Light.
