Beatie Edney

Beatie Edney ( born October 23, 1962 in North Kensington, London as Beatrice Edney ) is a British actress. She is the daughter of British actress Sylvia Syms.

Your first steps as an actress she made as an eight year old in the film A Day at the Beach. She gained worldwide recognition in 1986 with the role of Heather MacLeod in the movie Highlander - There can be only one. This role earned her a cult status in the Highlander franchise, and she played the role in the sequel to Highlander: Endgame once again in 2000. Outside the Highlander universe became her acting career to a halt. She was able to play minor roles in films such as In the Name of the Father or Mr. Johnson, however, remained out of the great success. So Beatie Edney worked mainly for British television, such as in the sitcom Dressing for Breakfast on Channel 4 in which they occurred between 1995 and 1998. In the theater, she starred in the play The Girlfriend Experience.

Beatie Edney has a degree from Leeds University.
