Beatrice Ask

Eva Carin Beatrice Ask ( born April 20, 1956 in Sveg, Härjedalen ) is a Swedish politician of the Moderate samlingspartiet.

From 1984 to 1988 she was the chairman of the youth wing of her party. From 1991 to 1994 she was Minister of Education in Sweden. In 1994 she was elected to the Swedish Parliament, from 2003, she was there, the judicial policy in her party. On 6 October 2006 she was appointed in the new government Reinfeldt Minister of Justice. Ask is one of the few non-lawyers who had previously held this office in Sweden.
