Beau Borders

Robert " Beau " H. Borders (born 1976 or 1977) is an American sound engineer and race car driver.

Life and career

Beau Borders was born in New Jersey and grew up there as well. Already as a teenager he was active racers. With 14 years Borders had claims to be the youngest team boss in the history of the IMSA. At that time he was a member of the race team his father.

Since the mid- 1990s, he worked as a sound engineer for film and television productions. Borders was initially hired to George Lucas ' Skywalker Ranch. Later he worked as a sound engineer at numerous major film productions.

At the Academy Awards in 2014 Borders and his colleagues David Brownlow and Andy Koyama were nominated Best Sound for their work in the war film Lone Survivor in the category.

Beau Borders lives in Venice Beach, California.
