Beaurieux (Nord)

Beaurieux is a commune in the Nord in the Région Nord -Pas -de -Calais. It belongs to the district of Avesnes -sur- helpe, to Canton Solre -le- Château and the community association Vallées de la Solre, de la Thure et de l' helpe. In the municipality of 164 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) on an area of 7.39 square kilometers.

Geography

The community in the Regional Natural Park Avesnois lies on the border with Belgium, about 18 kilometers south-east of Maubeuge and 30 kilometers southwest of Charleroi. In the community stems from the Ruisseau d' ecrevisse, a tributary of the Solre. In the Northeast territory extends to the shore of Thure.
