Bebeto, José Roberto Gama de Oliveira, actually, ( born February 16, 1964 in Salvador da Bahia ), is a former Brazilian footballer, who was elected in 1989 to South America's Footballer of the Year. He sits since 2010 for the Democratic Labor Party in the Parliament of Rio de Janeiro.

Bebeto started his professional career at the start of the 1983 season in his native Brazil at EC Vitória in Salvador, Bahia, called the Lions.
