The Beckhoff Group is a group of companies with headquarters in Verl, which was founded in 1953 by Arnold Beckhoff as Elektro Beckhoff and is now run by the second generation as a family.

Beckhoff was founded in 1953 by Arnold and Elisabeth Beckhoff in Verl. After the death of the founder whose children Arno, Hans, Marlies and Michael in 1981 took over the company. At this time, Beckhoff has 25 employees and generated a turnover of 2.5 million DM
