Becky Lyne

Rebecca Lyne ( Rebecca Louise " Becky " Lyne; born July 4, 1982 in Sheffield ) is a British middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 -meter distance.

In 2002, she competed for England at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, however, different in the run- off. The following year she won at the U23 European Championships in 2003 in Bydgoszcz.

In 2006 she was national champion, won at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg the bronze medal and finished fourth at the IAAF World Cup in Athens. From the British Athletics Writers' Association, she was elected athlete of the year.

The following year she was nominated in Osaka for the World Athletics Championships in 2007, but abandoned due to an injury in favor of Jenny Meadows. More injuries prevented them in the subsequent period, to connect with their past achievements.

Becky Lyne is 1.72 m tall, weighs 55 kg and starts for the Hallamshire Harriers.
