Bremerhaven rejects this, as the city before 1947 was called Wesermünde and so as to avoid misunderstandings. In a legal opinion, which gave the city of Bremerhaven in order, it is said, the name Wesermünde would be " in clear contradiction with the actual geographical location ." The new church was only in the " hull piece Imsum " near the ox tower contact the Weser. The name, therefore, contrary to the information required by law function.
