Bedesbach
Bedesbach is a municipality and a nationally recognized resort in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. Bedesbach belongs to the municipality Altenglan.
Geography
The place is in Kusel Musicians country in the Western Palatinate am Glan. To the north is Erdesbach, in the south Altenglan.
To Bedesbach includes the living space Sulzbacher yard.
History
Bedesbach was first documented in 1364. It belonged to the county Veldenz and later Palatinate -Zweibrücken.

Parish council
The local council in Bedesbach consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Culture and sights
In the old village smithy is a museum where the original equipment is shown.
The former school building was renovated in 2002 and serves as a community center. In the attic Bats have the kind of greater mouse-eared, the largest kind in Germany, ensconced.

Economy and infrastructure
The town is near the B 420, which runs through the neighboring Patersbach. To the south, the A 62 in Altenglan is a station on the railway line Landstuhl - Kusel. Bedesbach himself owned from 1904 to 1985 a railway station on the now disused Glantalbahn.
