History

The TJ was presented in 1958 as a modernized version of the TD. It gave him in the UK until 1975, after which it was manufactured until 1986 only for export. AWD then built it up until the early 1990s.

India and Pakistan

The Indian Hindustan Motors introduced the larger versions J5 and J6 ago from 1968. After the vehicles had not proved to be competitive with the products of Tata and Ashok Leyland, presented to a production. In Pakistan, the J5 and J6 were still built and dominated the commercial vehicle market.

Australia

In Australia, the TJ was sold as a Holden.
