Bedřich Smetana Museum

The Bedřich Smetana Museum is a Czech museum in Prague.

The museum is dedicated to the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana. It is located in the center of Prague near the Charles Bridge. This Renaissance building, originally owned by the Prague waterworks, since 1936 houses the Museum. On the first floor is the largest part of the exhibition. On the second floor is an archive of materials to the composer Bedřich Smetana, as well as a research center for the life of the composer. In the exhibition are letters, photographs and newspaper clippings to Smetana's life and various personal belongings of the composer.

The building was built in the years 1883-84 to plans by Antonín Wiehl served and then the Prague waterworks.
