Beer Quarry Caves

Beer Quarry Caves are former underground limestone quarries in the vicinity of Beer in Devon on the English Channel coast.

The village of Beer is located about two kilometers west of Seaton and 13 kilometers east of Sidmouth. The entrance to the cave complex is located about a kilometer west of the village center and one kilometer west of Branscombe.

Since the early 20th century, not one stone is mined. Since then, some of the caves were used to cultivate mushrooms. Today there from spring to autumn tours of the caves.
