Beetzendorf-Diesdorf

The community association Beetzendorf - This village was formed in the course of municipal reform in the Altmark Salzwedel in Saxony- Anhalt, on 1 January 2010. It emerged from the administrative community Beetzendorf - This village.

History

In the eight municipalities 14029 people ( as of 1 January 2010) at 519 km ². Because member communities a community association must have at least 1,000 inhabitants and a municipality can have a maximum of eight member communities, have been carried out following changes in advance:

  • On January 1, 2009: Merger of the municipalities Bonese, Dähre and location village to the new community Dähre
  • Merger of the municipalities Ahlum, Bierstedt and tube for mountain new community Rohrberg
  • Incorporation of the communities Bandau, Jeeben, Hohentramm, Mellin and tangling in the community Beetzendorf
  • Merger of the municipalities Ellenberg, Gieseritz and Wallstawe ( from the VG Salzwedel - country) to the new community Wallstawe
  • Merger of the municipalities Altensalzwedel ( from the VG Salzwedel - country) and Winter field and the patch Apenburg for new spots Apenburg winter field
  • Merger of the municipalities Bornsen, Hanum, Jübar, Lüdelsen and Nettgau the new community Jübar
  • Incorporation of the municipality Neuekrug in patches Diesdorf

The community Mehmke that are part of the administrative community, however, was not the municipality, was administered by the municipality. On September 1, 2010 Mehmke was incorporated by law in spots this village.
