Befimmo

Befimmo - SICAFI is a Belgian real estate investment trust ( Belgian name Société d' Investissement à capital fixe en immobilier SICAFI ) based in Brussels.

History

The predecessor organization " Woluwe Garden D" SA was established on 30 August 1995 at a building in Woluwe -Saint -Étienne ( Dutch: Sint -Stevens -Woluwe ) in Brussels to acquire. In the same year, parts of the real estate portfolio of Bernheim- Comofi were taken and Woluwe Garden renamed Befimmo. In the following years numerous other property and all real estate companies (including Prifast, Wetinvest, bastions Léopold NV, Cibix ) were acquired.

Since March 2009, quoted Befimmo - SICAFI the Belgian Blue -chip index BEL20.

Portfolio

On September 30, 2008, we owned Befimmo property with an area of ​​851 647 m2 and a value of 1.89 billion euros.

The company focuses on office buildings in central locations, which are primarily leased to public institutions.

Except for a property in Luxembourg Befimmo currently has exclusive properties in Belgium in Portfilio (75 % of them in Brussels). Also investing in Paris are planned for the future.

Share

The share of Befimmo - SICAFI is listed in Brussels on the euro Next and since 23 September 2008 in Paris. Since March 2009, the shares are part of the main Belgian stock index BEL20.

With a share of almost 19 % of the Belgian-Dutch financial services provider Fortis is the largest single shareholder, the remaining shares are in free float.
