The Bega River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.
Geography
The river rises near Morans Crossing the Snowy Mountains Highway in the Kybeyan Range, a mountain range of the Great Dividing Range, and flows first to the southeast and east. He south of Bega turns its course to the north, flows through the city and turns back to the east. To the north of Tathra it empties into the Tasman Sea.
