Behesht-e Zahra

Behesht -e Zahra (Persian بهشت زهرا, The Paradise of Zahra ), is the central cemetery of Tehran, and thus the largest cemetery in Iran. The cemetery was created south under the reign of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi as a central burial ground on the outskirts of Tehran. He can be reached today with the subway of Tehran and with over 1.3 million people buried the largest cemetery in Iran.
