Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program

The BAO Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program or Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program or SCAP is a in May 1996 organized by the Beijing Astronomical Observatory and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded project. His task is to identify near-Earth asteroids ( NEAs ) and comets.

To monitor the project uses a 60/90 cm Schmidt telescope with a 2048 * 2048 CCD camera. The telescope is installed in the Xinglong Station, China.
