Beira Interior Norte Subregion

Beira Interior Norte is a Portuguese subregion and part of the Centro Region and of the district of Guarda. To the north it borders Douro, on the east by Spain, to the south by Beira Interior Sul and at Cova da Beira, and to the west by the Serra de Estrela and Dão Lafões. The area of ​​the sub-region is 4251 km ². 2001 115,326 people lived in Beira Interior Norte. The subregion consists of nine counties:
