Beira (Portugal)
Beira [' bɐj.ɾɐ ] is a region ( and former province ) of Portugal. By 1976, the three southern provinces of the northern half of the country bore the name " Beira ":

- Beira Litoral.

The region, sometimes called Beiras, Portugal is a central region.
The Prince of Beira was a former title in Portugal, which was in use during the monarchy and was awarded the second oldest throne successor.
