Beit Hatfutsot

Beit Hatefutsoth Beth Hatefutsot or (Hebrew בית התפוצות " Diaspora House" ), the Nahum Goldmann Museum of the Diaspora, is located on the campus of Tel Aviv University, Ramat Aviv, Israel and was opened in 1978.

The idea of ​​the museum dates back to Nahum Goldmann, founder and longtime president of the World Jewish Congress. Here the history of the Jewish diaspora communities around the world by the time of the Babylonian exile is with modern techniques, and audiovisual displays explained to the present. The museum contains no artifacts and is arranged thematically. At its opening in May 1978, it was considered by many experts as one of the world's most innovative museums.
