Beji Caid el Sebsi

Beji Caid el Sebsi (Arabic الباجي قائد السبسي al - Bajee Qa'id as- Sabsi, DMG al - Bāǧī Qā ʾ id al- Sabsi; born November 29, 1926 in Sidi Bou Saïd ) is a Tunisian politician. Between 27 February and 24 December 2011 he was the Prime Minister of Tunisia, after his predecessor Mohamed Ghannouchi resigned after persistent protests. Sebsi had held the post of Interior, Defence and Minister of Foreign Affairs as early as the reign of Habib Bourguiba. He was also president of the Chamber of Deputies as well as his country's ambassador in France and Germany.

After the Jasmine Revolution he presented on 7 March 2011 in front of his new cabinet. This consisted mainly of technocrats. On 24 December 2011, he was replaced by Hamadi Jebali, who was appointed after the first democratic elections in Tunisia to the Constituent Assembly.

In April 2012 he founded his party reputation of Tunisia.
