Bekana Daba

Bekana Daba ( born July 29, 1988 in Wollega ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

At the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka, he retired about 5000 m from the inlet port. In 2009 he won at the Carlsbad 5000, but came at the World Championships in Berlin does not return the first round of the 5000 -meter run out. End of the season he won the Las Vegas Marathon on the half marathon course.

In 2010 he was fourth at the New York City Half Marathon and twelfth the Amsterdam Marathon. In 2011, he presented at the Houston Marathon in a course record.
