Bekim Kastrati

Bekim Kastrati ( born March 25, 1979 in Peć, SFR Yugoslavia, now Kosovo) is an Albanian football player.

Career

Kastrati played at the beginning of his career, inter alia, at FC Wegberg- Beeck, at Aris Saloniki and its youth club KF Peja.

Mid-2004 Kastrati from amateur club Borussia Freialdenhoven to Borussia Mönchengladbach. As a striker, he was in the U23 in the season 2005/ 06 with 29 goals in the Oberliga Nordrhein scorer. He also completed four games for the first team.

In order to get more match practice as a professional, he moved in 2006 to Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga. After only a year with a lot of injuries ( cruciate ligament) Bekim Kastrati joined the 2007/08 season in the Regionalliga Nord to league rivals Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he wanted to go back to his sporting achievements. In January 2008 he retired to a friendly match against Bayern Munich a testicle to crack.

In summer 2009, Kastrati signed at third division Dynamo Dresden a contract for one year.
