The Belarusian State University for computer science and Radioelectronics (Russian Белорусский государственный университет информатики и радиоэлектроники; belarusian Беларускі дзяржаўны ўніверсітэт інфарматыкі і радыёэлектронікі ) is today one of the most important scientific and academic institutions in Belarus. The " BSUIR " was founded in 1964 as Minsk Institute of Radio Engineering. Currently, it offers 30 specialized programs with various combinations of subjects. The number of students is about 15,000.

The partner universities and higher education institutions in Germany are: University of Wuppertal, Mittweida, Pforzheim University. There are more than 300 international students at the BSUIR who come from 30 countries.
