Belau rekid
Belau loba he klisiich a kelulul (also: Belau Rekid, German: Our Palau ) is the national anthem of the island nation of Palau. It was adopted in 1980 after the citizens of Palau had voted in 1978 against accession to the 1979 formed Federated States of Micronesia and for self-employment. The anthem was adopted unchanged when Palau was officially independent on 1 October 1994.
The music was of Ymesei O. Ezekiel (1926-1984) composed. The text has been compiled from the contributions of various authors, so not officially a lyricist is named.
