Belga is a Belgian news agency. The company is based in the Brussels suburb of Schaerbeek / Schaerbeek.

The news agency was founded in August 1920 under the name " Agence de Presse Telegraph and belge ( Belga ) ". Initially, only French-speaking, 1944, with the Netherlands, the second main language of Belgium added (the third official language, German is not used ). 1948 acquired the Belgian newspapers, the majority of the press agency.
