Belgium national field hockey team

The Belgian national hockey team of men represents Belgium in international competitions. Acting coach is Adam Commens. After Champions Challenge 2007, which was hosted by Belgium and ended the team on the last ( sixth ) place, were Gilles Bonnet and dismissed his assistant Pascal Kina.

Between 1920 and 1978, Belgium took part in two of the first three World Championships and at eleven of thirteen Olympiads. In Belgium, is played in clubs hockey since 1902 and since 1904. 1907, the Belgian Hockey Association was founded. Belgium played its first international match against Germany. The association is one of the founding members of the International Hockey Federation (FIH ).

The team is in the FIH World Ranking currently in 9th place (25 August 2013).
