Belgrano Department, Santa Fe

The department Belgrano is located in the west of the province of Santa Fe in the center of Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Department of San Martín and San Jerónimo, the east by the department of Iriondo, to the south by the Departamento Caseros and to the west by the province of Córdoba.

The capital of the department Belgrano, Las Rosas.

According to estimates by the INDEC, the population increased from 41 449 inhabitants (2001) to 46 746 inhabitants in 2005.
