Belle da Costa Greene

Belle da Costa Greene ( born December 13, 1883 in Alexandria ( Virginia), † May 10, 1950 in New York City ) was the librarian of the American banker and collector John Pierpont Morgan and after his death, the first director of the Pierpont Morgan Library to her retirement in 1948.
