Bellefire

Cathy Newell (born 14 July 1982)

Bellefire is a former Irish girl group. Despite several successful singles of commercial success was largely. For this reason, the pop band ended in late 2004 their musical collaboration.

History

2000 Bellefire was founded in the cast Kelly Kilfeather, Tara Lee, Cathy Newell and Ciara Newell. It was the successor of the recently founded together with Paula O Neill of Louis Walsh in band chit chat.

When, after two successful single releases the finished album was deposed shortly before the publication in the European market from the record label Virgin, Tara Lee left the band. Virgin had seen in Bellefire that barely gained notoriety outside of Ireland and Southeast Asia no chance of commercial success. Bellefire changed record label and produced in 2004 the three of a new album. As the success of the single releases was moderate, the release of the album in the UK has been repeatedly postponed and finally canceled later. Although an official separation never took place, finished Bellefire after completion of the Asian tour, the cooperation end of 2004.
