Belterra, Pará

Belterra is a Munizip with 16,790 inhabitants ( 2004) in the Brazilian state of Pará. It is located in the west of the state on the Rio Tapajós. Belterra is known for the experiments of Henry Ford, here grow in rubber plantations. In place of the Belterra Kautschukzapferhütten are still preserved, which are now protected as cultural heritage.
