Ben Adams

Ben Adams ( born November 22, 1981; actually Benjamin Anthony Edward Stevens Adams ) is a British singer.

He is the youngest of the three remaining members of the boy band A1.

Adams first attended Highgate School. After reaching the General Certificate of Secondary Education ( GCSE ), he joined at the age of 16 years at the Westminster Under School. There he was a member of the school choir and later chorister of St. Margaret 's Choir of Westminster Abbey.

In 1999 he founded together with Mark Read, Paul Marazzi and Christian Ingebrigsten the pop band A1. The joint project was an immediate success. Already the first single reached the Top Ten on the British charts. In 2000 followed two number-one hits.

Together with A1 Adams was at the ceremony of Brit Awards 2001 Award for Best Newcomer. After three albums and the departure of Marazzi it was 2002 silent around the band.

Adams devoted himself for some years to writing his own songs. End of May 2005 was titled Sorry his first solo single.
