Ben Alexander (actor)

Nicholas Benton Alexander ( born May 26, 1911 in Goldfield, Nevada; † July 5, 1969 in Hollywood, California ) was an American actor.

Life

He played his first role at age four among directors Cecil B. DeMille and DW Griffith. In the Western Front in 1930, he played Franz Kemmerich. As his acting career flattened mid-1930s, he found a new field as a radio announcer. In 1951 he returned again in the role of a detective in the television series Dragnet back to the film.
