Ben Cottreau

Ben Cottreau ( born April 4, 1985 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the Hannover Scorpions in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Cottreau began his career in the 2001/ 02 season with the Markham Waxers in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League. There, the winger played three years before he transferred to Mercyhurst College in 2004. With the University of Canadians played to 2008 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

During the 2007/08 season Cottreau made ​​his professional debut in the American Hockey League with the Albany River Rats when he ran aground in ten season games after the end of the college season.
