Ben Cramer

Ben Cramer (actually: Bernardus Kramer, born February 17, 1947 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch pop singer and musical actor.

Cramer Zai zai zai debut single was released in 1967 and was also placed directly in the Dutch Top 10. More Hits by him were Dan met mij and De clown. He was selected to represent his country at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest 1973 in Luxembourg. With the hit De oude muzikant he ended up in 14th place ( out of 17). Ben Cramer had repeatedly chart hits until 1980, then it was quiet around him.

In 1989, he starred as Juan Perón in the musical Evita, it was followed by other forces in productions such as Chicago or Phantom of the Opera.
