Ben Erdreich

Benjamin "Ben" soil ( born December 9, 1938 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama) is an American lawyer and politician (Democratic Party).

Career

Ben graduated in 1956 at the soil Shados Valley High School in Birmingham (Alabama ). He received his Bachelor of Arts in 1960 at Yale University in New Haven ( Connecticut ) and his Juris Doctor in 1963 at the Law Faculty of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa ( Alabama). He also worked as chief editor of the Alabama Law Review. Thereafter he served 1963-1965 in the U.S. Army. His admission to the bar he received in 1963. After his military service he went to the practice of law after.

Soil also pursued a political career. He served 1970-1974 in the House of Representatives of Alabama. Then he held 1974-1982 the position of commissioner in Jefferson County. Soil was elected to 98th U.S. Congress and reelected to the four succeeding U.S. Congresses. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 3 January 1983 to 3 January 1993. During this time he took in 1988 and 1992 as a delegate to the Democratic National Conventions in part. In the election to the 103rd U.S. Congress, he suffered a defeat. He lives currently in Birmingham (Alabama ).
