Ben Stom

Bertus "Ben" Stom ( born October 13, 1886 in Apeldoorn, † August 18, 1965 ) was a Dutch football player. He was a member of the 1905 team that played the first official international match of the Dutch national football team.

Association

Stom played at club level from 1905 to 1907 at Velocitas Breda. In the season 1907/ 08 he stood in rows of HFC. Both clubs were each in the Eerste Klasse A.

National

He played his debut, which was also the first official game of the Dutch national team, on April 30, 1905 in Antwerp, a Belgian selection until his last mission on March 29, 1908 once again at the southern neighbors, nine caps for the Netherlands. A goal he did not achieve.
