Bend Over and Pray the Lord

Bend Over and Pray the Lord is an album by the Finnish band Lordi. It was recorded in 1999 but only published in the spring of 2012. The album was recorded with a DVD that contains Lordi's first concert in 2002 in Nosturi in Finland, released.

Formation

Ari Tiainen, Lordi's former record company boss, wanted to release the album originally, but what it lacked the financial resources. Tiainen recommended the band to Kimmo Hirvonen 's Records, which belonged to the label Anaconda. Shortly before the scheduled release date Anaconda Records went bankrupt, however.

The never released debut album was released on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first part of a planned box called Scarchives. Originally the band was planning a large box, which was rejected for cost reasons. Instead, have been or planned to be released parts one by one. During the recordings of the concert, which was recorded by several cameras, the errors have been reproduced without coloration. The set list of the pieces of the actual debuts Get Heavy.
