Bendik Singers

The Bendik Singers were a four-member Norwegian vocal group that was put together by singer and composer Arne Bendiksen. The members of the group were Anne- Karine Strøm, Ellen Nikolaysen and brothers Bjorn and Benny Kruse.

As the winner of Melodi Grand Prix with the title Å for et spill they were allowed to compete in Luxembourg at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest 1973. The song was presented in English with individual rates in other European languages ​​translated. When It's Just a Game, the piece went to seventh place.

The following year, Anne- Karine Strøm won the Norwegian preliminary decision as a solo singer. She was accompanied there by the rest of the Bendik Singers as backing chorus.
