Benedikt Schopper

Benedikt Schopper (born 18 February 1985 in Weiden in der Oberpfalz ) is a German professional ice hockey player who played in the 2013/14 season with ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Career

The 1.88 m tall defender started his career with his hometown club, 1 EV pasture for their seniors team he was already 17 years in the big leagues on the ice. Here the links Sagittarius came in the regular season, the master track and the play-offs on a total of 33 games and also completed some games in the jersey of junior teams in the Bundesliga, where he was able to achieve five goals and nine points. In the following season Schopper received a permanent place in the second division squad of EV Weiden and completed 42 games in which he was able to score a goal and four points. In addition, the defender came in the play- downs in eight other games available for use.

2004 Benedict Schopper was committed by the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, whose regulars squad he belonged over long distances, but also spent a few games with a production license cooperation partner REV Bremerhaven in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the season 2006/ 07 Schopper moved to mosquitoes food and products obtained in 50 inserts seven goals and 24 points. For the 2007/08 season the defender signed a one year contract with an option for a further season with the Krefeld Penguins. The option was taken at an early stage, so Schopper in the 2008 /09 season went for the Penguins on the ice. In July 2009, the Penguins announced that Schopper has extended his contract by two years, and thus continue to accrue for the black and yellow. For the 2011/12 season he was bound by the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg, where his contract was extended for the 2012/13 season, before they parted ways.
