Beniamino Vignola

Beniamino Vignola ( born June 12, 1959 in Verona, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer.

During his playing career, he was celebrated midfielders and including two European Cup victories.

Career

Beniamino Vignola began his career with his hometown club, Hellas Verona, for which he made ​​his debut in Serie A in 1978. In 1980 he moved to the U.S. Avellino, where he was three seasons under contract.

In the summer of 1983, Vignola was finally obliged by Italian giants Juventus. With Juve he won under coach Giovanni Trapattoni, an Italian Cup, the European Cup Winners' Cup, the European Champions Cup and the European Super Cup. In the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup him doing even the decisive goal to make it 2-1 succeeded against FC Porto. The 1985/86 season he spent at Hellas Verona, the following two seasons back at Juventus.

In 1988, Beniamino Vignola moved to FC Empoli in Serie B, with which he, however, the descent into Serie C1 could not prevent. At the end of the 1991/92 season Vignola ended his career in Serie C2 in the AC Mantova.
