Benjamin Ortner

Benjamin Ortner ( born March 16, 1983 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian professional basketball player. Except for a short time in 2012, when he played for the German Bundesliga LTi Giessen 46ers, the insertable to the power forward and center positions Ortner is active since 2005 in Italy.

During his studies from 2001 to 2005 in the United States Ortner played together with the known inter alia from the German Basketball Bundesliga Mark Worthington for the basketball team of the Metropolitan State College of Denver and won the 2002 championship in the NCAA Division II He could at Roadrunners as a good shot blocker distinguished and holds the team record for most blocks in a game.
