Benjamin Sheares

Benjamin Henry Sheares (born 12 August 1907 in Singapore, † May 12, 1981 ibid ) was from 1971 to 1981, the second President of Singapore Yusof bin Ishak and successor. He was previously the first Chancellor of the National University of Singapore.
