Benjamin Wingerter

Benjamin Wingerter ( born March 25, 1983 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German football player.

Career

Wingerter began his career at FC Schalke 04 in his hometown of Gelsenkirchen. Until 2001, he played for the youth teams and from 2001 to 2004 for the second team. For the season 2004 /05 he moved to 1 FC Union Berlin. After the descent Union Berlin from the Regionalliga Nord, he moved to VfR Aalen. There he graduated 16 August 2008 his first professional use, when he came off the bench in the match against FC Erzgebirge Aue. He graduated after this game with a game against Rot -Weiß Erfurt 23 August 2008, before he incurred a torn ACL. Having survived this, he suffered a meniscus injury. After a long injury break, he finally gave 9 May 2009 against SC Paderborn his comeback. At the end of the season yet the VfR but rose from the now fourth-rate Regionalliga Süd. This, however, his contract was invalid and Wingerter joined then Sportfreunde Lotte on. With the sports friends, he took in 2009 and 2011, the vice-championship of the Regionalliga West. In the 2012/13 season Wingerter with Lotte champion, but failed in the climb to the 3rd league games at RB Leipzig. Then he moved in the summer of 2013 to the Regional rivals Rot-Weiss Essen.

Wingerter took part in the U-19 European Championship in 2002 and at the U - 20 World Cup 2003 Germany.
