Benny Rebel
Benny Rebel ( born 1968 in Iran ) is a German photographer and environmentalist. He became famous for his photographs of wild animals that originated in an unusually short distance to the animals.
Life
Benny was born in 1968 in Rebel Iran. Since 1987 he lives in Germany. After completing his apprenticeship as a precision mechanic and completing his baccalaureate, he worked in a variety of industries, to the passionate conservationists discovered photography and film production as a promotional tool for environmental projects.
He has to date organized numerous film, photo, nature and adventure expeditions and successful. Numerous trips and expeditions have taken him - sometimes several times - in many African countries like South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda, but also in Iran, Turkey, India and Sri Lanka, he also traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Galapagos archipelago, in the Dominican Republic, the U.S. and some EU countries.

In 2004, Benny Rebel produced several multimedia shows. 2005 produced the NDR a 60 - minutigen documentary film about Benny Rebel and his work as a wildlife photographer and conservationist in South Africa. Since 2006, followed by numerous television appearances in NDR (including in the NDR Talk Show), ZDF (including in Mittagsmagazin ), ARD ( ttt - titel, theses, temperaments ), in Sat.1 breakfast television, as well as in programs of the MDR, BR, WDR, RTL and ARTE. 2007 Benny Rebel produced a documentary film about the extinction of the Bengal tiger in India. In the same year the film production Wilder Iran was in the hot south with nature shots in Iran.
The first book of Rebel entitled " Untamed " was released in 2006 in the Herbig -Verlag. The first edition was quickly sold out. 2007 will be the second book by Benny Rebel entitled " The animals of Africa in 3D" in Terra Magica -Verlag. It is about the first book in the world, which the animals of Africa shows three-dimensional. Since February 2010, the third book of the artist on the market. The book's title is " My adventure wilderness " - " Experiences of a wildlife photographer ". This Benny Rebel tells the fascinating and often life-threatening adventures that lie behind his photographs. The book was published in Publisher Terra Magica. In December 2010, Benny Rebel published in cooperation with EnjoyYourCamera.com his fourth book "Picture Style - Simple Ways to better images ." In this book, Rebel has all the important rules of image and color design clearly compiled and easy to understand illustrated with corresponding sample photos. This work is a combination of the fundamental laws of art work and personal recommendations of the author regarding the application areas of the respective rules.

Since February 2010 Benny Rebel is with his new live multimedia show " My adventure wilderness " - " Experiences of a wildlife photographer " on tour. This Rebel portrays the exciting and often life- threatening adventure, behind his photographs. The two-hour show, which is composed of footage, exclusive produced music, 2D and 3D photos will be performed live by Benny Rebel.
Awards
In 2002 was elected to the " Photographer of the Year" Benny Rebel by the readers of the magazine " photo magazine". 2002 and 2003, he was appointed twice in a row, the "world's best nature photographers " at the world 's largest photo competition "Austrian Super Circuit ". It was followed by numerous other awards, medals and certificates of various international competitions.
