Benson Idahosa University

The Benson Idahosa University is a private Christian university in Benin City, Nigeria.

It was named after the first Pentecostal archbishop in Nigeria Benson Idahosa (1938-1998), who had his office in Benin City. The University is committed to evangelistic Code, as Benson Idahosa preached him throughout his life. Its current president is the Reverend F.E.B. Idahosa, the son of the bishop, priest, also launched by Benson Idahosa Church of God Mission International.

The Benson Idahosa University, was confirmed by the Nigerian Communications Commission universities, the National Universities Commission ( NUC ) and ranked as the second best private university in Nigeria in 2005.
