Bent Tomtum

Bent Tomtum ( born February 6, 1949 in Vardal, † 15 October 2001 in Gjøvik ) was a Norwegian ski jumper.

His first medals won Tomtum at the Norwegian Championships 1967 in Voss. At the normal hill and he won gold in the large hill the silver medal.

His international career began on December 31, 1967 at the opening event of the Four Hills Tournament 1967/68 in Oberstdorf. He finished jumping on the 6th Place. When New Year's event in Partenkirchen, he finished fourth and fifth in Innsbruck. In Bischofshofen he only reached 21th Place. In the end, he stood but despite its fourth place of the tour overall standings.

In the Norwegian Championships in 1968 Raufoss he could repeat the success on the normal hill and won gold again. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1968 and thus discharged Nordic World Ski Championships in Grenoble he reached the 5th place on the large hill.

The last time this occurred in 1973 at the Norwegian championships, but was only able to win the bronze medal, and then ended his competitive career after he also landed at the Four Hills Tournament 1972/73 only in the rear jumper box.
