Berchtesgadener Ache

The Berchtesgaden Ache is a river that flows from the Berchtesgaden valley towards the Salzach. ( According to Koch- Sternfeld it was designated in 1815 still with " Albe ". ) In other watercourse on Austrian territory from Grödig it is called Königsseeache.

The Berchtesgaden Ache starts at the southern edge of Berchtesgaden after the unification of Königsseer and Ramsauer Ache. It flows through Berchtesgaden and market Schellenberg and ends after a right bend in St. Leonhard am Anifer forest pool below the highway bridge on the left into the Salzach.
